🔧 Engineering Projects

Github
deadlyops.com: Deployed serverless using Cloudflare Workers & Pages. Development locally using Docker, deploying to Kube-Prometheus-Stack for added practice. Added html, JS, style linting, along with pre-commit hooks and Github actions!
phoenixmartialartshv.com: Website for promoting the (my) Hudson Valley NY chapter of Phoenix Martial Arts. Backend runs on Cloudflare Workers Contact and Waiver form submissions. Next step is to migrate images over to CDN to lighten repository.
timer.phoenixmartialartshv.com: Digital round timer for Martial Arts / Boxing / Interval training, built with HTML/JS and deployed on Cloudflare Pages.
Infrastructure as Code Sandbox: Experiments with Terraform and Pulumi for modular infrastructure setups in AWS using localstack environment.
Configuration Management: Configured Chef for Raspi Management on local home network.
MLOPs / RAG Practice / Python GUI: Testing RAG processes using local Llama3 model and embedding that within a Python driven GUI, Llama-Ollama (Terminator AI).
Lambda Function Runtime Check: Simple Python script leveraging boto3 to assemble a list of lambdas running an outdated runtime version and email a team based on a tag.

Hands-on fabrication and mechanical projects, anything involving tools, materials, and creative problem solving outside the digital world.

Aluminum Training Weapons

While starting in Martial Arts in FMA I always saw guys with awesome training weapons made from metal and wanted them! Trouble is they aren't cheap and at the time I already spent most of my money on training and seminar costs. In the scrap pile I was able to obtain a 2' x 6' x 1/4" sheet of aluminum and I worked at Lowe's so I got an employee discount on jigsaw blades.
